Emily Dean

Director of an upcoming episode of Netflix's Love, Death + Robots. Emily Dean is a creator, filmmaker, and artist from Australia living in LA. An Asian-Australian American Dean started drawing at age 3, making films at age 12, and working professionally as a storyboard artist for TV commercials at age 15. Her credits as a story artist include THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE, sci fi thriller HOTEL ARTEMIS, and the Academy Award winning animated short HAIR LOVE. Emily currently has a number of feature and streaming projects currently in development and is also working on an original graphic novel.
